When I started this blog last year all I had time for was to make a quick banner and background and toss them up on the default theme, and I've been intending to customize a theme for it ever since. For this, I made several modifications to WooThemes' Bueno theme, one of my favorite starter themes for blogs. Now it's a much better match in style and tone to the rest of my web site.

What do you think?

Look no further. As my web design and virtual assistance business has evolved into more of a web design, branding, and web site assistance service, it looked like the right time to re-organize and re-brand.

A new name and a new web site aren't the only changes you'll find at Bauhaus Online Creative. We've streamlined our services to put the focus on where our clients have made it clear that they want it and to improve the quality of our offerings. That means we're no longer offering general virtual assistant services or social networking assistance. Instead, our retainer packages will focus on web site assistance and helping out with the more technical aspects of setting up social networks and WordPress sites — pretty much all of the things I was actually getting asked to do, anyway.

And I've saved the most exciting change for last: I have a new business partner, who also happens to be my partner in life–my husband Matt will be joining me in the daily operation of the business. He'll also be taking charge of sales and marketing and customer service so that I can focus on actually doing the work you've hired us to do. Eventually he also hopes to lend his creative talents as a professional photographer. Feel free to give him a warm welcome, or to just say hello!
